SE Tech Lead

Purpose of the role:

The Systems Engineer Tech Lead is responsible for leading the design, reliability, and continuous improvement of the company’s infrastructure across production and staging environments. This role combines strong hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, ensuring stable, secure, and scalable systems while enabling development teams to deliver value efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

• Close communication and proactive collaboration with product development team and stakeholders.

• Consistent quality control of tasks in the “Code Review” status and responsibility for accurate infrastructure documentation for every infrastructure-related change introduced as part of completed work.

• Managing a team of SE & SRE engineers.

• Newcomers onboarding period management (mentoring, work quality control, onboarding tasks selection)

• Support team planning quality improvement process

• Setup and maintain infrastructure for production/staging environments.

• Support and development of Gitlab CI pipelines.

• React to monitoring events (periodical day/night duties).

• Improve infrastructure setup and maintenance processes.

• Manage the infrastructure budget and resource allocation.

• Participate in the design of complex IT systems.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior System Engineer or Senior SRE/DevOps.

• Team leading and mentoring experience 3+ year

• Good understanding of Linux-like operating systems (Administration and troubleshooting)

• Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible / Saltstack / Terraform / Pulumi).

• Experience with Kubernetes+Helm.

• Experience with Kafka

• Experience with Postgres

• Experience with configuration GItlab CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with domain WAF/WAAP management

• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus stack/Zabbix)

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to optimize workflows and support decision-making.

• Manage the infrastructure budget and resource allocation.

• Intermediate or higher English (B1+).
