Weโ€™re building a world-class sales engine to support our continued growth, and weโ€™re looking for a driven, curious, and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.

Your mission as SDR will be to generate and qualify new business opportunities by creating a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads for the sales team, directly fueling TaxDomeโ€™s growth in the Japan market

๐Ÿ“ What You'll Do

  • Prospect potential customers via cold calls, emails, social media, and event follow-ups

  • Qualify leads by understanding business needs and decision-making processes

  • Clearly articulate TaxDomeโ€™s value proposition and tailor messaging to client pain points

  • Maintain and update lead records and interactions in HubSpot and reporting tools

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to optimize campaigns

  • Consistently hit or exceed daily activity targets and monthly pipeline goals

  • Contribute ideas to improve SDR scripts, tools, and outreach tactics continuously

๐Ÿง  What You Bring

  • Native Japanese speaker with fluent English (C1+)

  • Proven communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and handle objections

  • Organized, proactive, and resilient โ€” thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment

  • Interest in tech sales and long-term growth (SDR to AE and beyond)

  • Experience with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce (preferred)

  • Prior experience in prospecting, inside sales, or client-facing roles is a plus

  • Self-motivated and proactive: you bring energy, ownership, and a drive to win every day

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Background in accounting, finance, or B2B SaaS

  • Experience working in a global, fully remote team

๐ŸŽฏ What Success Looks Like

Within your first 6โ€“12 months, you will:

  1. Consistently deliver pipeline โ†’ Generate and qualify sales-qualified leads (SQLs) per month.

  2. Exceed activity KPIs โ†’ Achieve or surpass weekly outreach metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, event follow-ups).

  3. Improve conversion quality โ†’ Increase the % of qualified leads accepted by AEs by asking the right discovery questions.

  4. Collaborate seamlessly โ†’ Build trust with AEs and Marketing by ensuring a smooth handoff of opportunities.

  5. Contribute insights โ†’ Share market feedback that improves messaging, targeting, or sales tactics.
