Target:

• Ruby 3.2

• Rails 7.2

• Modern supported gems

Must have:

• Strong Ruby (keyword arguments, performance changes)

• Rails deep knowledge (autoloading, Zeitwerk, config changes)

• ActiveRecord internals understanding

• PostgreSQL experience

• Gem dependency debugging

• CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar)

• Docker

• AWS basics (deployment familiarity)

Nice to have:

• Experience upgrading legacy Rails apps

• Monolith → modernization experience

• Performance optimization

• Security hardening during upgrades
