Research Ops Coordinator

We are looking for a ✨ Research Ops Specialist ✨ to join my Product Insights team.

This is a unique opportunity in DeFi — a chance to be a trailblazer. While Research Ops is well established in Web2, in crypto it’s still rare. This role is crucial to Orca’s mission: you’ll design the systems that bring real user voices that shape product decisions. The way you set up these foundations will shape how research is done at Orca — and it’s also an expression of how deeply we value user centricity as a core part of building in DeFi.

What Makes This Exciting:

• Own the Engine of User Feedback — You’ll design, grow, and maintain our participant panels, making sure the voices of our users directly shape Orca’s roadmap.

• Make Research Run Smoothly at Scale — You’ll focus on the operations side of research: recruitment logistics (screeners, outreach, scheduling), consent & incentives, and panel health (time-to-fill, show rate, representation). You’ll be the one who makes it possible for studies to run smoothly and at scale.

• Pioneer Research Ops in DeFi — With Crypto still early to User Research, you’ll have the freedom to shape how research is done at Orca.

• Why it matters: too often crypto skips over listening to real users. At Orca, we believe user voices should be at the heart of building fair, human-centered tools

Backgrounds that could be a great fit:

• Customer Support in Crypto, Community Management, Project or Operations roles, Participant Recruitment, Research Coordination, or Academic Research Administration.

• If you’ve built processes, kept projects running smoothly, and love connecting with and building communities — especially finding users where they are — this role could be for you.
