QA (Mobile team)
The Hyperion team is part of the data domain stream in the mobile direction. The team is developing components: charts, explore tab, alerts, economic calendar. QA will test tasks at both platforms: in the iOS project and in Android .
We are looking for a person who has 2 years of experience in testing mobile applications and are considering candidates of Senior level.
How you’ll shape success 🏆
Perform a wide range of tests on mobile applications, including functional, usability, user interface, and localization testing.
Analyze and reproduce bugs, providing detailed documentation and clear reproduction steps to assist developers in resolving issues.
Investigate and troubleshoot user-reported issues, ensuring timely resolutions and providing feedback to improve the user experience.
Test and review requirements and technical specifications for new features and functionalities, ensuring clarity and completeness.
Monitor and maintain the team's backlog, ensuring tasks are properly prioritized.
Create and manage an internal knowledge base, test documentation to enhance team productivity.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and streamlined processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the team.
What makes you the perfect fit 🤝
Experience in QA testing for mobile applications (Android or iOS). Strong understanding of the specifics of native applications.
Strong understanding of different types of testing, including functional, usability, localization, and user interface testing.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
Familiarity with mobile testing tools and frameworks for automation
Strong ability to write clear, detailed, and actionable bug reports and documentation.
Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of native languages Swift or Kotlin (preferred, but not required).
Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and identify root causes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) instruments.
Knowledge of various mobile development frameworks and platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, offering support and sharing knowledge to help achieve common goals.
