QA Engineer (integrations)

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Integrations) with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in testing payment systems and integrations. In this role, you will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and external partners to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our payment integrations and core fintech solutions.

About Unipesa
Unipesa is a Dubai-based development company specializing in B2B2C solutions for payment services across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. We integrate with local and global payment methods, connect payment agents to service providers, and build communication solutions that enable customer engagement across SMS, messaging apps, and more.

Role Purpose
The primary focus of this role is to validate integrations with Payment Providers and test company products to ensure reliable delivery into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Test company products, payment methods, and integration solutions.

• Design and maintain test cases, checklists, and defect reports.

• Identify, describe, and log defects in Jira or other bug-tracking systems.

• Communicate directly with external clients and vendors to clarify issues.

• Provide detailed test reports and status updates.

• Collaborate independently with other team members (support, developers, analysts, etc.).

• Prepare and maintain test documentation.

Tech Stack

• PHP 7+, MySQL (core project environment)

• Tools: Postman, Insomnia, Swagger, DevTools

• Jira (bug-tracking and reporting)

• Git (version control)

• Linux (basic log reading and operations)

What We Expect from You

• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer or technical support engineer in fintech (banks, payment systems, or similar).

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Swagger, etc.).

• Proficiency with bug-tracking systems (Jira, Redmine, Trello, etc.).

• Experience writing and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).

• Ability to read logs and use browser DevTools or similar debugging tools.

• Solid understanding of Linux OS for QA purposes.

• Experience with version control systems (Git).

• Technical English proficiency and ability to communicate in writing with clients and teams in English.

• Excellent written communication skills in Russian.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on different project sizes and in teams of various scales.

• Background in introducing or maintaining automated tests in fintech projects.
