QA Automation Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Java) with 1–3 years of experience to evolve our API and mobile automation infrastructure. We are seeking a specialist with solid Java and OOP skills and hands-on experience with Appium/Selenide and GitLab CI/CD. We value code reliability, the ability to quickly identify the causes of bugs, and a drive to leverage AI tools (Cursor, n8n, Gemini CLI) to accelerate processes and eliminate flaky tests.

Responsibilities

• Create reliable API and integration automated tests
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications
• Support and scale the test automation framework
• Configure GitLab pipelines and monitor their stability
• Analyze test instability and eliminate flaky behavior
• Prepare test data and configure test environments
• Partner with developers to analyze and localize defects

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in test automation
• Solid knowledge of Java and OOP principles
• Experience in mobile/web automation (Appium, Selenide, or similar tools)
• Strong understanding of REST, HTTP, response statuses, and API contracts
• Experience interacting with and configuring GitLab CI/CD
• Proficiency in result analysis and diagnosing the causes of test failures
• Experience using AI tools for automation and development (n8n, Cursor, Cloud Code, Gemini CLI, or similar)

Nice to have:

• Experience writing API tests (RestAssured or similar tools)
• Experience testing asynchronous interactions (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience working with Docker
• Experience with Allure / Allure TestOps
• Experience in load testing
