The Senior Project Manager will lead the design, documentation, and implementation of all branch client and employee journeys for a banking branch network. This role is responsible for end-to-end orchestration of physical and digital branch experiences, including customer sales and service scenarios, employee workflows, and coordination of the delivery of all supporting IT solutions required to operate branches from day one.

The role combines business process design, customer experience (CX), and strong IT project management, ensuring seamless integration between branch operations, digital channels, and core banking systems.

What You Will Do

Design Client and Employee Journeys

You will own the design and documentation of end-to-end branch journeys for both customers and employees.

  • Design and map sales and service journeys across assisted, semi-assisted, and self-service scenarios

  • Define employee journeys for branch roles, including relationship managers, tellers, branch managers, and service staff

  • Create journey blueprints, swimlane diagrams, SOPs, and playbooks

  • Ensure journeys are simple, compliant, efficient, and digitally enabled

  • Embed customer experience principles and usability best practices

Own Branch IT and Digital Enablement

You will be responsible for all IT capabilities that enable branch operations and customer flows.

  • Define and deliver branch front-end systems and assisted sales tools

  • Own employee devices and customer-facing solutions such as tablets, kiosks, and QMS

  • Define UX and functional requirements for branch and customer interfaces

  • Act as the bridge between business and IT, translating journeys into technical requirements

  • Work with architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions

Lead IT Delivery and Rollout

You will manage end-to-end IT project delivery for branch solutions.

  • Own scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies

  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and technology partners

  • Oversee solution design, development, integration, UAT, and go-live

  • Ensure readiness for pilot branches and full-scale rollout

  • Manage post-launch stabilization and continuous improvement

Stakeholder, Vendor, and Governance Management

You will act as the single point of accountability for branch journeys and enabling technologies.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with business, operations, compliance, risk, and IT teams

  • Facilitate workshops to define journeys and requirements

  • Manage external vendors, including branch technology and QMS providers

  • Ensure regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security standards

  • Prepare documentation for internal approvals, audits, and regulators
