Product Manager (Trading Platforms)
We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager for our Trading Platforms team within the CFD trading platform organization. You will enhance the end-to-end client trading experience, ensuring it is seamless and optimized for conversion, retention, and engagement.
In collaboration with the Head of Product and a growing team, you will focus on client experience initiatives such as core trading, personalization, and analytics. Your role includes working with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to define requirements and deliver best-in-class experiences across various regions and regulatory frameworks.
This role involves managing the backlog, leading agile ceremonies, and collaborating with design and engineering teams. You will leverage insights, customer journey mapping, and data analysis to enhance our mobile app and web trading platforms and support cross-platform initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on client acquisition, engagement, and long-term growth in a fast-paced global FinTech environment.
As our Product Manager - Trading Platforms, your key responsibilities will include:
Customer satisfaction: Champion the voice of the client by ensuring products and journeys meet client needs, reduce friction, and drive high levels of satisfaction and trust.
Backlog ownership: Manage and prioritise the end-to-end product backlog across mobile, web, and supporting platforms, ensuring it reflects business priorities and goals, client needs, and regulatory requirements.
Agile delivery: Lead sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives), support the engineering team during delivery, and ensure blockers are resolved quickly.
Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Design, Engineering, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, Client Support) to align priorities, gather input, and ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements gathering & analysis: Translate business goals and client needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work with design and engineering to ensure requirements are well understood and achievable.
Customer journey mapping: Partner with design and research teams to map end-to-end customer journeys across trading, loyalty, referrals, and personalisation, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Data & insights: Use analytics, client feedback, and market research to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure feature performance. Ensure that decisions are backed by data and outcomes are measurable.
Delivery support: Work side-by-side with engineering during the development cycle, clarifying requirements, refining scope, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Personalisation & loyalty: Support initiatives to enhance client engagement through tailored experiences, referral programs, loyalty features, and analytics-driven insights.
Cross-platform consistency: Contribute to both the mobile app and web trading platform, ensuring design and functionality provide a seamless client experience.
Success metrics: Define and track KPIs for new features and releases, ensuring they deliver measurable impact on client experience and business outcomes.
Continuous improvement: Regularly review product performance, agile processes, and stakeholder feedback to improve delivery speed, quality, and client value.
