Product Designer, Subscription Apps

We're hiring a Product Designer to own paywall and onboarding design across Superwall's clients. You'll design, test, and improve monetization flows for mobile apps in an agency setup — working alongside growth managers who drive strategy and track performance. You'll set the bar for design quality and work directly with clients.
What you'll do
In one sentence: Design paywalls and onboarding flows that make mobile apps more money.
Design and iterate on paywalls, onboarding screens, and monetization flows for Superwall's mobile app clients — this is your primary output
Work with growth managers to understand each client's goals, test hypotheses, and improve conversion through design
Track performance of your designs — conversion metrics, A/B test results, funnel data inform every iteration
Build reusable patterns and templates that scale across multiple mobile apps and app categories
Push the craft of paywall and onboarding design forward — you're opinionated about what converts and why
Work across all clients — variety is high, context-switching is real, speed matters
What we're looking for
Strong experience in product/growth design for mobile apps — paywalls, onboarding, conversion flows, subscription UX
You've worked in a product company or on a mobile app where you owned paywall, onboarding, and monetization flow design end-to-end
You've used Superwall or similar tools (RevenueCat, Adapty, Purchasely) — or deeply understand how mobile app monetization works
A portfolio with shipped mobile paywall and onboarding screens that performed — show us what you built, what it replaced, and what moved
Strong UI craft — typography, spacing, hierarchy, mobile-native patterns
Comfortable iterating fast based on data — A/B test results, conversion metrics, funnel analysis
Understands the psychology behind purchase decisions — pricing presentation, urgency, value framing, trial flows
AI-native workflow: you use AI tools to accelerate your process — from generating paywall variations and layout options to prototyping and automating repetitive design tasks
Proficiency in Figma (required)
Strong communication skills — you'll work directly with clients and internal growth managers
Proficient English (written and verbal)
Based in EU or US East Coast timezone

You think about design in terms of conversion and revenue impact
You're energized by client variety — different mobile apps, different audiences, different challenges every week
You move fast, ship often, and iterate without waiting for perfect briefs

You've worked in an agency or multi-client environment
You have your own mobile app or side project with subscriptions
Experience with mobile app growth, ASO, or subscription analytics
You've run or contributed to A/B tests on paywalls or onboarding flows
