Product Analyst

Our operations span Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, where we assist thousands of customers in enhancing their financial well-being through responsible and intelligent lending practices.

Due to a new product release, we are looking for a Product Analyst. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in online lending or fintech products with at least 2-4 years of experience in these industries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth user behavior analysis using tools like Amplitude and SQL.

• Build and analyze cohort studies to monitor product adoption and engagement trends.

• Perform conversion funnel analysis to identify friction points and growth opportunities.

• Design and evaluate A/B tests and controlled experiments to guide product development.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Python (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn).

• Partner with product managers, data engineers, risk teams, and UX designers to align data efforts with business needs.

Technical Expertise

• SQL (aggregation, window functions, query optimisation techniques)

• Python for EDA and controlled experiments (loops and functions, basic libraries: pandas, matplotlib, seaborn)

• Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

• Statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies

• Mobile app analytics and user journey mapping

• Amplitude

Financial Services Understanding

• Knowledge of digital banking, investing, insurance, and risk management principles

• Credit risk models and lending processes

• KYC/AML compliance requirements

Product Analytics Specialization

• User behaviour analysis and cohort studies

• Customer lifetime value (LTV) and churn modelling

• Conversion funnel optimization

• Product performance metrics control and understanding

Soft Skills & Business Skills (Cross-functional Collaboration)

• Ability to work closely with data analysts, risk management teams

• Communication with data engineering team on technical requirements

• Stakeholder management and reporting to leadership
