Motion Designer

We’re looking for a Motion Designer with a strong focus on performance creatives and a solid understanding of how visual assets impact store conversion (ASO). You’ll work closely with our UA Lead, Creative Producer, and Publishing Producer to design, iterate, and improve ad creatives and store assets for our live and test-stage games. You’ll be a core part of our creative testing loop — creating fast, data-informed iterations to find what works across channels and stores.
This is not a branding or polish role — it’s about speed, performance, and impact.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

UA Creatives

  • Produce and iterate mobile ad creatives: short-form video ads, static banners and playables is a plus

  • Repurpose gameplay footage, raw assets, and references into compelling performance creatives

  • Adapt creatives to different formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for Meta, TikTok, Google Ads

  • Apply hooks, effects, text, UI mockups to drive CTR and IPM

  • Collaborate on creative hypotheses and test plans with UA and Producer

Iteration & Experimentation

  • Deliver 5–10 variations of high-potential creatives for A/B testing

  • Optimize based on performance feedback and metrics

  • Remix and rework “almost-working” creatives for faster learnings

Store Assets & ASO Visuals

  • Create App Store / Google Play screenshots, icons, and preview videos

  • Work with Creative Producer to test visual variations

  • Apply best practices for visual storytelling, clarity, and feature highlighting

  • Prepare region-specific or custom store listings when needed

Playable Ads (optional but valuable)

  • Build simple HTML5 or tool-based playable ads for UA testing

  • Work with UA Lead and Producer to define playable logic and user flow

  • Iterate on interactions, UX, and visuals based on performance data

  • Use platforms like Luna, Mindworks, or custom templates for speed

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Motion Designer: 3+ years of performance-focused creative work in gaming or mobile apps

  • Conversion-Driven Mindset: You think like a UA marketer — not just “what looks good” but “what gets clicks and installs”

  • ASO-Aware: You understand what makes effective store visuals, even if you're not an ASO specialist

  • Fast & Iterative: You deliver quickly and improve based on data

  • Collaborative: You love working with UA managers, producers, and creative strategists to build the right thing

  • Game Fluent: You play mobile games, know the visual language of top performers, and understand game mechanics
