Marketing Project Analyst
We are looking for a highly analytical and organized Marketing Project Analyst, responsible for tracking and generating strategic analyses of the marketing budget, as well as evaluating the impact and performance of the department’s initiatives. This person will play a key role in ensuring efficient resource allocation, providing visibility to marketing leadership, and facilitating informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and track the marketing budget, ensuring control over monthly and annual spending.
Generate financial analyses and spending forecasts by campaign, channel, and vendor.
Establish budget planning processes in collaboration with marketing team leaders.
Create and maintain up-to-date dashboards and executive reports on department performance, expenditures, return on investment (ROI), and campaign effectiveness.
Conduct impact analyses of marketing investments, linking financial metrics with business outcomes.
Work directly with the Business Intelligence area to analyze the impact of the marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with team members to collect data, validate budgets, and perform monthly budget closures.
Support the administrative organization of the department in terms of processes, documentation, and reporting.
Identify areas of optimization in spending and propose data-driven improvements.
Prepare presentations in both English and Spanish for various stakeholders.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in similar roles, ideally within marketing or business intelligence teams.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, charts).
Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proactive approach to anticipating information or control needs.
Intermediate to advanced English level (reading, writing reports and presentations).
Previous experience managing digital marketing and ATL/BTL campaign budgets is a plus.
Skills in presenting financial data and proposals to non-financial stakeholders.
Flexibility and ability to work under uncertainty and shifting marketing campaign priorities.
Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners, including negotiating financial terms of contracts and managing accounts payable.
