HR Generalist
Belgrade, Serbia.
We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in a recently launched Belgrade Office. You’ll be the go-to person for both employees and management, making sure everything runs smoothly, from office set-up and daily operations to creating a great work environment.
Your role will cover things like vendor and budget management, travel coordination, safety and facilities oversight, events, and office catering management. You’ll also support HR processes, including onboarding while helping us build a productive and supportive workplace.
Responsibilities:
Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
Payroll Coordination: collect and verify payroll data; liaise with payroll vendors; ensure accurate and timely salary processing in line with local legislation.
Employment Administration: prepare and maintain employment contracts, onboarding and off-boarding documentation, amendments, and other HR records.
Vendor and Provider Management: manage relationships with HR and payroll vendors, benefit providers, and other service partners; ensure timely invoicing and payments.
HRIS & Documentation: maintain accurate employee data in HR systems; organize filing systems for personnel documents in compliance with local regulations.
Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment.
Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
Administrative Support: assist HR and Finance teams with day-to-day operational tasks.
Experience and mindset:
Previous work experience in HR Operations / Payroll Administration.
Hands-on experience with payroll preparation and execution, including coordination with external payroll vendors.
Experience in employment administration (contracts, amendments, terminations, employee records).
Proven ability to coordinate with government authorities on employment-related matters (social security, tax, immigration).
Strong vendor management skills, including handling service providers and outsourced partners.
Good time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Critical thinker and problem-solver.
Fluent in Serbian and English.
