As the Head of Representative Office, you will be responsible for launching and managing the Lisbon office, building a high-performance local team, ensuring legal and operational compliance, and growing the brand's presence in the Portuguese financial market. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a background in finance, strong operational capabilities, and the ability to represent the business at both corporate and regulatory levels.

Key Responsibilities
Office & Operations:

  • Lead and oversee all office operations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company policies

  • Act as the official representative in front of Portuguese government and regulatory authorities

  • Coordinate cross-departmental activities and maintain alignment with corporate HQ standards

Brand & Market Presence:

  • Develop and execute local brand awareness strategies in collaboration with HQ marketing

  • Represent the company in media outlets, public relations campaigns, and events

  • Manage relationships with local media, influencers, and marketing partners

Team Management:

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage the local office team

  • Ensure team productivity and alignment with company culture and performance standards

  • Support ongoing professional development of team members

Market Insight & Reporting:

  • Monitor local investment trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities

  • Produce monthly reports on office performance and market analysis for senior leadershi

Your Profile
Professional Background:

  • 5+ years of experience in international financial services or brokerage firms

  • Proven experience managing local offices or representative branches

  • Experience interacting with government/regulatory bodies and overseeing operational compliance

  • Background in marketing/brand building is a plus

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Portuguese regulatory requirements for financial institutions

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and reporting abilities

  • Fluent English; Portuguese fluency is highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
