Head of Product (Billing)

What you’ll do 

• Own the end‑to‑end billing architecture: design, build, and maintain integrations with payment gateways, subscription engines, and vendor services.

• Lead recurring payments, routing, and PCI‑compliant transaction flows – deciding what to build in‑house vs. leverage vendors.

• Develop advanced analytics and reporting to model complex billing economics and optimize monetization performance.

• Define and manage processes for billing events, error handling, retries, refunds, and reconciliations.

• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, security, finance, and external vendors to ensure reliability and compliance.

About you 

• You have 3+ years building or managing billing systems

• You possess solid hands-on experience integrating with payment gateways and subscription vendors, and ensuring PCI-DSS compliance

• You bring a strong analytical mindset – able to model billing economics, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations

• You've demonstrated a proven track record balancing build vs. buy decisions, with experience managing vendor relationships

• You offer excellent collaborative skills: able to communicate complex technical concepts to finance, security, and vendor teams
