Head of Media, StatesofMind.com

We are looking for a Head of Media: a person who is both a hands-on content creator and a systems builder - someone deeply embedded in the psychedelic ecosystem. The role will be responsible for cross-platform content creation and distribution, aiming to become the leading psychedelic media in Europe - measured in terms of user growth and retention.

Responsibilities: What You Will Drive

Content strategy & platform integration

• Define and execute the overall content strategy across formats: video, podcast, written, short-form, and interactive content.

• Build content as a core layer of the StatesOfMind product.

• Collaborate closely with the edtech part of Pink Elephant portfolio, integrating content into its products and user journeys.

Hands-on content creation

• Personally create high-impact content at scale - engaging practitioners, researchers, therapists&psychiatrists and relevant organizations’ stakeholders.

• Utilize AI/vibe-coding tools - Cursor/Claude/genAI tools - for content production&distribution&scaling.

• Host or develop podcast and video formats.

• Produce or oversee explainers, educational content, and storytelling formats that make complex topics accessible.

• Act as a visible voice of the platform and as States of Mind ambassador in the wider progressive mental health industry.

Distribution & partnerships growth

• Scale SEO content distribution across website, social media, Reddit, podcast, Substack, webinars.

• Build repeatable systems for organic growth and audience engagement.

• Establish scalable content workflows, calendars, and production pipelines.

• Optimize content performance using analytics, testing, and iteration.

• Build mostly barter-style partnerships with creators, media platforms, and ecosystem organizations.

• Build partnerships with relevant organizations - both commercial and non-profit: foundations, associations, other key industry media.

• Driving the platform community - building, activating it, and scaling.

Experience: What You Bring

• Solid experience and network in psychedelics, frontier mental health expertise would be a plus. Specifically, network and experience with psychedelic practitioners as well as understanding of the psychedelic-assisted therapy education world.

• Experience building or scaling content platforms, newsletters, podcasts, or media brands - including content automation and distribution.

• Understanding of how content drives acquisition, retention, and conversion across funnels.

• Personal public brand and experience in conducting interviews, recording podcasts, or creating viral video content.

• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to decompose complex topics in an engaging manner.

• Mission-driven motivation to expand access to knowledge and care.
