Head of eCommerce

We are now looking for a Head of eCommerce who will take full ownership of this area: business strategy, supplier acquisition, product strategy, operational excellence, and team leadership. This is a role for someone who can scale a two-sided eCommerce model — both the supplier side (brands/distributors) and the buyer side (salon owners).

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the end-to-end eCommerce business strategy, covering both supply and demand.

  • Drive GMV, revenue, orders, margin growth, repeat purchases, and overall business health.

  • Build a scalable supplier base by establishing, negotiating, and managing partnerships with top distributors and brands in beauty, wellness, and health.

  • Build and execute a strategy to increase adoption and purchase frequency among Booksy providers (beauty, wellness and soft-health businesses).

  • Operate with a strong commercial mindset.

Product Vision & Roadmap

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap, translating user insights and business needs into features and improvements.

  • Work closely with Product & Engineering to shape a best-in-class buying experience for busy salon owners.

Operations & Execution

  • Lead and develop a 10-person team across partnerships, sales, operations,marketing and product

  • Oversee assortment, pricing, promotions, and margin structure, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

  • Ensure seamless end-to-end operations: logistics, delivery performance, returns, CX, and operational SLAs.

  • Use data, experimentation, and rapid iteration to scale the business consistently.

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience as Head of eCommerce / eCommerce Manager / Commercial Lead, ideally in fast-growth environments.

  • Proven track record of building or scaling eCommerce from early stage to strong commercial results.

  • Experience in the beauty, wellness, or health industries is a strong advantage.

  • Strong commercial acumen and hands-on experience with supplier acquisition, vendor management, and negotiations.

  • Ability to grow both sides of the marketplace: suppliers and customers (providers).

  • Solid understanding of product strategy and cooperation with tech teams.

  • Strong leadership skills — ability to hire, motivate, structure, and scale a high-performing team.

  • Analytical, data-driven decision maker, comfortable with financial models and KPIs.

  • Skilled in category management, pricing, CRM, merchandising, and performance marketing.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to take ownership, bias toward action.
