Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Head of Business Operations to lead the central operational function at TaxDome. This person will be responsible for scaling operational excellence, managing cross-functional alignment, and driving the company-wide rhythm through OKRs, business reviews, tooling governance, and internal automation initiatives.
This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the COO, with broad impact across Product, Engineering, Sales, HR, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership
Act as a thought partner to the COO and executive team on operational priorities.
Lead company-wide initiatives that require cross-functional execution and alignment.
Translate high-level strategic plans into actionable operational programs.
Drive clarity and transparency around priorities, ownership, and success metrics.
Planning & Performance
Own the full OKR lifecycle: design, implementation, reviews, and continuous improvement.
Lead the company’s Business Review process, including cadence, content, insights, and coordination.
Partner with BI and department heads to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Process, Tools & Enablement
Oversee governance of internal SaaS tools and systems (no hands-on configuration).
Sponsor tooling evaluations and coordinate adoption across teams.
Establish and maintain documentation standards, SOPs, and knowledge-sharing practices.
Automation & AI (Strategic Oversight)
Define and drive the company’s automation strategy across departments.
Partner with the Automation & AI Specialist to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
Evaluate and sponsor AI adoption initiatives, running pilot programs in collaboration with leaders.
Serve as the operational sponsor of low-/no-code and AI-driven improvements (not hands-on development).
Requirements
7+ years of experience in business operations, strategy & operations, or similar leadership roles, including roles such as Head of PMO (internal).
Proven track record in managing cross-functional initiatives at scale.
Experience in managing internal projects related to automations.
Experience leading OKR processes.
Expertise in implementing changes and proficiency in change management frameworks.
Strong understanding of SaaS tools, operational governance, and process optimization.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
Experience managing small to mid-sized teams.
