Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Head of Business Operations to lead the central operational function at TaxDome. This person will be responsible for scaling operational excellence, managing cross-functional alignment, and driving the company-wide rhythm through OKRs, business reviews, tooling governance, and internal automation initiatives.

This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the COO, with broad impact across Product, Engineering, Sales, HR, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership

• Act as a thought partner to the COO and executive team on operational priorities.

• Lead company-wide initiatives that require cross-functional execution and alignment.

• Translate high-level strategic plans into actionable operational programs.

• Drive clarity and transparency around priorities, ownership, and success metrics.

Planning & Performance

• Own the full OKR lifecycle: design, implementation, reviews, and continuous improvement.

• Lead the company’s Business Review process, including cadence, content, insights, and coordination.

• Partner with BI and department heads to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Process, Tools & Enablement

• Oversee governance of internal SaaS tools and systems (no hands-on configuration).

• Sponsor tooling evaluations and coordinate adoption across teams.

• Establish and maintain documentation standards, SOPs, and knowledge-sharing practices.

Automation & AI (Strategic Oversight)

• Define and drive the company’s automation strategy across departments.

• Partner with the Automation & AI Specialist to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

• Evaluate and sponsor AI adoption initiatives, running pilot programs in collaboration with leaders.

• Serve as the operational sponsor of low-/no-code and AI-driven improvements (not hands-on development).

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, strategy & operations, or similar leadership roles, including roles such as Head of PMO (internal).

• Proven track record in managing cross-functional initiatives at scale.

• Experience in managing internal projects related to automations.

• Experience leading OKR processes.

• Expertise in implementing changes and proficiency in change management frameworks.

• Strong understanding of SaaS tools, operational governance, and process optimization.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.

• Experience managing small to mid-sized teams.
