We’re a Munich-based HR tech startup building a next-generation recruitment automation platform. Our product helps agencies and in-house recruiters streamline outreach, connect multiple sourcing channels, and automate candidate communications from first contact to hire.

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll work across both the frontend and backend, building new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring a smooth user experience — using TypeScript, ReactJS, Fastify, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

This is a fully remote role within Europe, where you’ll collaborate with an international and supportive team. We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills (around 5+ years in similar roles) and a collaborative mindset — someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and treats colleagues with respect. Good spoken and written English will help you feel confident in team discussions and daily collaboration.

Our core stack includes TypeScript, ReactJS, Node.js, Fastify, PostgreSQL, and AWS, with Docker and Git for development and deployment, and Jira for task tracking, working in short Agile iterations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain frontend features

  • Build and maintain backend services with Node.js, Fastify, and TypeScript

  • Work with PostgreSQL database design and optimization

  • Integrate external APIs and contribute to our mixed monolith–microservices architecture

  • Collaborate with the team to clarify requirements, suggest improvements, and align features with customer needs

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure stability and performance

  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, ideally at mid-to-senior level

  • Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS on the frontend and Node.js (Fastify) with TypeScript, and building RESTful APIs

  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design and migrations

  • Proactive and responsible approach to work — you take ownership, communicate clearly, and treat colleagues with respect

  • Good spoken and written English for confident participation in team discussions and day-to-day collaboration

  • Based in Europe, with legal status for freelance/B2B work in your country

Nice to have

  • Background in SaaS product development

  • Interest in HR tech or recruitment platforms

Conditions

  • Full-time commitment (around 8 hours per day) with flexible working hours

  • Freelance / B2B position paid from Germany

  • Payment based on an hourly rate

  • Open to candidates with legal freelance or business status in Europe (We can't pay to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Central Asia, and Georgia)

  • Fully remote within European time zones

  • Small, collaborative international team
