Frontend Team Lead (React)

About the team

We work on the trading part of TradingView: broker integrations and the ability to trade directly from charts.

The team works with more than 100 brokers, from standard integrations to direct connections to large partners’ APIs. One of the core areas is chart-based trading — managing orders and positions directly on the chart. This involves complex, high-load logic where architecture, correct state management, and fault tolerance are critical.

The team’s focus is not on UI, but on engineering logic: integrations, trading scenarios, asynchronous flows, and browser capabilities. This area is actively evolving, with major changes and new integrations ahead.

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend team: plan work, distribute workload, and help solve complex technical and architectural challenges

• Design architectural solutions and contribute to building key application components

• Work on broker integrations and external APIs, participate in designing and implementing complex scenarios

• Conduct code reviews and maintain development quality standards

• Develop the team: run 1:1 meetings and support engineers in their technical and professional growth

• Collaborate with other teams and take part in cross-team technical discussions

• Hold technical meetings and discussions with English-speaking partners

What makes you the perfect fit

• 5+ years of commercial experience in frontend development with complex logic

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, experience with React

• Experience leading a development team of 3 or more engineers

• Experience designing the architecture of complex client-side applications

• Understanding of browser behavior, asynchronous workflows, and performance

• Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

• A desire to grow professionally and help others grow

Will be a plus

• Experience in finance or trading domain

• Familiarity with TradingView as a product
