Role Overview

We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing / CRM Specialist who will own the end-to-end lifecycle logic and communication strategy across the entire customer journey — from first lead touch to post-sale retention and expansion.

This role is not about running isolated email campaigns. It is about designing, operating, and continuously improving the lifecycle system itself, using CRM data, behavioral signals, and automation to drive meaningful progression and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. CRM Lifecycle Ownership

  • Own and operate the end-to-end CRM lifecycle architecture, including:

    • Pre-sales: Lead → MQL → SQL → SAL

    • Post-sales: Onboarding, Adoption, Retention, Expansion

  • Maintain, evolve, and improve existing lifecycle stages, transitions, and rules

  • Ensure lifecycle logic is:

    • Clearly documented

    • Consistent across teams

    • Scalable as the business grows

  • Own and maintain a single lifecycle framework used by Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success

2. Lifecycle Communication Strategy

  • Own the lifecycle communication framework across the full customer journey

  • Define:

    • What we communicate

    • When we communicate

    • Why we communicate at each lifecycle stage

  • Use communication as a driver of lifecycle progression, not as a standalone activity

  • Partner closely with:

    • Email Marketing (pre-sales communication execution)

    • Customer Success / CS Ops (post-sales communication)

  • Ensure consistent messaging and logic across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success

3. Signals, Automation & Enablement

  • Use behavioral and engagement signals to inform lifecycle decisions

  • Translate signals into:

    • Automation logic,

    • Routing rules,

    • Suppression logic.

  • Ensure reliable lifecycle transitions and high CRM data quality

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and CS to:

    • Align lifecycle execution,

    • Establish feedback loops,

    • Continuously improve lifecycle performance.

4. Conversion Optimization & Experimentation

  • Continuously test and improve lifecycle execution through experimentation with:

    • Messaging and value propositions,

    • Timing, cadence, and touchpoint sequencing,

    • CTAs and progression paths.

  • Optimize lifecycle efficiency across key transitions:

    • Lead → MQL,

    • MQL → SAL,

    • SAL → SQL.

  • Apply modern lifecycle best practices (2025–2026), including:

    • Intent-based routing,

    • Progressive profiling,

    • Behavior-driven, dynamic lifecycle programs.

Success Metrics

Core Lifecycle Metrics

  • Lead → MQL conversion rate

  • MQL → SAL conversion rate

  • SAL → SQL conversion rate

  • Time-to-MQL (median days)

Lifecycle Communication Impact

  • CRM-assisted SAL share

  • Post-sale CRM engagement rate

  • Lifecycle re-engagement conversion rate

System & Scale Metrics

  • Lifecycle automation rate

  • Lifecycle coverage rate

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle, or Email Marketing in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot (workflows, lifecycle stages, automation)

  • Deep understanding of full lifecycle logic, from lead generation through post-sale stages

  • Proven ability to improve conversion and progression metrics, not just engagement

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience running experiments and working with data

Strong Plus

  • Experience working with complex or long sales cycles

  • Deep expertise in Email and CRM as lifecycle execution tools

  • Experience working with multi-segment B2B audiences (SMB → Mid-market)

  • Understanding of attribution logic and pipeline metrics
