As a Creative Producer at Appodeal Publishing, you’ll take ownership of the creative performance layer of our publishing stack.
You’ll identify what makes each game marketable, design how to showcase it through ads, and work across UA, product, and design to launch and iterate on high-performing assets.

You’re not just giving feedback — you’re setting the creative tone, guiding asset production, and actively improving our ability to scale great games.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Briefing

  • Define ad strategy for each game based on gameplay, positioning, and target audience

  • Build creative briefs and concepts that showcase gameplay hooks and emotional moments

  • Identify tone, format, narrative, and gameplay flow that should go into ads

  • Propose iterations or new angles when CPI/IPM drop

Creative Production Oversight

  • Own the full creative cycle: concept → draft → review → launch → learn

  • Manage timelines, assets, approvals, and feedback loops

  • Work with agencies, freelancers, and motion designers to produce short-form video ads

  • Support production of static store assets (screenshots, icons) and potentially playables

Performance Analysis & Learning

  • Analyze creative results with UA team (CPI, IPM, CTR, hook rate, watch time)

  • Track which angles convert — and build insights into templates for future games

  • Share learnings with UA, Product, and Design to align next steps

Store Assets & ASO Support

  • Coordinate visual assets for App Store & Google Play (screenshots, preview videos, icons)

  • Align visual strategy with ASO goals and A/B testing plans

  • Ensure store presence reflects the strongest aspects of each game

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with:

    • UA Lead — to align on goals and audience targeting

    • Publishing Producer — to sync product goals and player experience

    • Agencies / In-house motion designer — to execute creative strategy

  • Support positioning on stores and ensure consistency across channels

Who You Are

  • 2–4 years of experience producing ad creatives for mobile games or apps

  • Strong portfolio of short-form ads (video or static) — ideally performance-tested

  • Solid understanding of CPI/IPM metrics and how to influence them through creatives

  • Great taste in storytelling, pacing, and gameplay representation in ads

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams: UA, product, design

  • Comfortable briefing, reviewing, and iterating quickly

  • Familiarity with ASO best practices: what makes a screenshot/icon/store video convert
