Copywriter

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to help drive the development of compelling, strategic, and high-impact content across multiple marketing channels. This role is crucial in shaping Salmon’s brand voice and supporting our marketing, PR, and growth objectives. You’ll work closely with internal and external partners to deliver copy that resonates with our target audiences and reinforces our position as a leading fintech brand.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop content strategies tailored to each platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, blog, website)

  • Create and manage an editorial calendar, ensuring consistent and timely output

  • Define key messages and unique selling propositions aligned with marketing goals

Content Creation & Adaptation

  • Write engaging copy for social media, Stories, short-form video scripts, and email campaigns

  • Develop content for landing pages, website sections, banners, and paid media

  • Craft compelling headlines, ad captions, taglines, and messaging for PR initiatives

  • Support influencer outreach and media relations with tailored content packages

Optimization & Analytics

  • Apply SEO best practices to improve search rankings and organic visibility

  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and optimize copy based on insights

  • Conduct A/B tests on headlines and calls-to-action (CTAs) and refine accordingly

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketers, designers, and PR managers for unified messaging and storytelling

  • Partner with product and project managers to extract key insights and inform content creation

  • Coordinate with agencies, freelancers, and journalists for broader campaign execution

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience in marketing copywriting (social media, web, ads, PR)

  • Strong, results-focused portfolio that demonstrates storytelling and strategic thinking

  • Mastery of tone, voice, clarity, and emotional resonance across formats and audiences

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, Facebook/Google ad managers, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica)

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, A/B testing, and basic content design tools (Figma, Canva)

  • Highly adaptable, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-moving startup environment

Additional Requirements / Preferences

  • Excellent written English; knowledge of Filipino culture and digital behaviors is a plus

  • Background in fintech, banking, or e-commerce strongly preferred

  • Able to manage multiple content streams and work independently under tight deadlines

  • Open to both local and expat candidates (relocation support can be discussed)

  • Availability to start as soon as possible
