Chief Operating Officer

· The company offers a subscription-based model targeting retail, professional and institutional clients, providing trading bots, portfolio management tools, and analytics tailored for large-scale trading. Initially retail-focused, the company has expanded to serve B2B markets, including professional traders and institutional investors.
· As part of its ongoing expansion, the company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer, a newly created role to lead and structure its operational processes.
Position Overview
· As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will act as the operational backbone of the company—driving day-to-day execution, cross-functional alignment, and strategic delivery.
· You’ll report directly to the CEO and have direct leadership over the Customer Experience and Analytics teams. Finance and Legal will report directly to the CEO, while maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the COO for operational coordination and planning.
· This is a mission-critical leadership role suited to someone who combines strategic insight with rigorous execution. You will translate company-wide goals into actionable plans, manage executive-level priorities, and ensure measurable progress on key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Operational Leadership
· Translate business strategy into executable operating plans, KPIs, and OKRs
· Own the rhythm of business: lead planning cycles, coordinate cross-functional execution, and track progress against strategic goals
· Drive C-level agenda and coordination, ensuring efficient leadership decision-making and accountability
· Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies, improve speed, scalability, and unit economics
Functional Oversight
· Directly lead and structure: Customer Experience and Analytics
· Collaborate closely with: Finance and Legal (dotted-line), which report directly to the CEO
· Build scalable operational systems and team rituals that support sustainable growth
· Champion cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Compliance
· Mentor and support the development of department heads across operational functions
Customer Experience & Analytics (Primary Focus)
Customer Experience
· Build and lead the Customer Experience function, including support operations, user success, and service design
· Oversee support operations focused on responsiveness, satisfaction, and self-service enablement
· Champion customer-centricity across the company, embedding user feedback into product and strategy
· Introduce automation and tooling to scale support without compromising quality
Analytics
· Establish and scale the Analytics function to enable data-driven decision-making across all teams—both internal operations and customer-facing functions
· Deliver actionable insights to guide prioritization, product strategy, and continuous improvement
· Embed performance metrics and customer insights into company-wide planning and reporting
Data, Reporting & Performance Management
· Define and maintain company-wide KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, churn, SLA performance, support efficiency)
· Develop dashboards, reporting cadences, and data-informed decision frameworks
· Support quarterly and annual planning cycles with clear measurement systems
· Ensure alignment between customer data, operational execution, and strategic objectives
Cross-Functional Coordination (Including Dotted-Line Collaboration)
· Collaborate with Finance and Legal (direct reports to the CEO) to support strategic planning, compliance, and internal controls
· Ensure these functions are integrated into planning cycles and broader business rhythms
· Facilitate alignment between Finance, Legal, and operational departments (e.g., Product, Engineering, Growth)
· Support budgeting, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and investor reporting in partnership with the CEO and functional leads
· Stay informed on crypto compliance frameworks (KYC, AML, GDPR, etc.) and ensure alignment with evolving regulations
Candidate Profile
Requirements
· 7+ years in senior operations, general management, or COO-level roles in high-growth tech environments (preferably in crypto/trading, fintech/SaaS, or B2C/B2B/SME sectors)
· Proven success managing multiple functions, including customer experience, analytics, and operational scaling
· Exceptional planning and execution skills—able to translate strategic vision into operational outcomes
· Strong grasp of metrics, reporting, and scalable business systems
· Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams
· Excellent leadership, communication, and talent development abilities
· Fluent in English (C1+)
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with regulated fintech/crypto products and compliance (e.g., KYC, AML, GDPR, MiCA)
· Proven, hands-on experience in building or scaling Customer Experience and Analytics functions from early stages
· Track record in both retail and/or B2B, SME, or SaaS business models
· Previous C-level leadership, including board and investor-facing responsibilities
· Experience leading distributed or remote-first teams
· Background in both consulting and in-house operational roles is a plus
