PHP Developer (Symfony/ Yii2)

With over 20 years of expertise, we have successfully launched more than 200 poker projects in 41 countries, serving over 48 million players who use EvenBet's poker software in the dynamic iGaming industry.

About Position 

Responsibilities:

• Support an existing Yii2-based API and gradually migrate it to a modern stack using Symfony / API Platform;

• Develop and maintain REST APIs for backoffice, client applications, and server-to-server interactions;

• Work with MySQL (primary database), Redis (for event exchange), and ClickHouse (for specific use cases);

• Collaborate with QA specialists, DevOps engineers, analysts, and project managers;

• Participate in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups, monthly retrospectives, and bi-weekly releases;

• Manage tasks in YouTrack, write code in PhpStorm, store code in Git, and perform code reviews in GitLab;

• Handle deployment using Ansible.

We expect you to have:

• 3+ years of experience in PHP development Symfony/Yii2 (Middle+);

• Technical education background;

• Experience in REST API development;

• Experience working with high-load systems;

• English at A2 level, Russian at B2 level.
