Lead Data Analyst (Collection Risk)

MexicoHybrid

Relocation support to Mexico.

The Collections department is key to recovering overdue loans, safeguarding the bank’s financial health, and improving cash flow. It reduces non-performing assets (NPAs), supports risk management and compliance, and ensures proper repayment processes. Additionally, Collections helps maintain strong customer relationships through tailored repayment plans and protects the bank’s reputation.

We're now looking for a Lead Data Analyst — a high-impact, strategic role that directly shapes the performance of our collections model and drives business results.

Challenges that await you:

  1. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts — supporting their development and ensuring high-quality delivery across all analytics workstreams
  2. Drive the strategic planning and execution of collections initiatives using data — identifying opportunities, evaluating performance, and guiding improvements
  3. Own the end-to-end analytics cycle for collections: from building reporting systems and running A/B tests to conducting ad-hoc analysis and translating insights into action
  4. Oversee your team’s work on monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics — Cure Rate, Roll Rate, Flow Rate, PTP, KPTP, RPC, Contact Rate — ensuring insights are turned into measurable improvements
  5. Collaborate closely with digital and call center teams to enhance customer interactions and optimize overall collections effectiveness
  6. Pilot and implement new tools and initiatives that improve the efficiency and impact of collections processes

What makes you a great fit:

  1. 5+ years of experience in data analytics and at least 2 years in a leadership role, managing and developing analytical teams
  2. Proven track record in fintech, big tech, or other fast-scaling, data-driven environments
  3. Strong technical skills in SQL and Python; hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau (or similar)
  4. Solid experience in designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests to support product and strategy decisions
  5. Strong background in building and analyzing reports, as well as driving data-informed solutions
  6. Experience working with ML models
  7. Excellent communication skills — comfortable presenting insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  8. English level: B2 or higher

Our benefits:

  1. Relocation support to Mexico with full visa & permit support to the employee and family
  2. Flexible work: hybrid or full-time from our office in Mexico
  3. Healthcare Coverage
  4. Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
  5. Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
  6. Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
