Kotlin Developer (Сore Development)

Manila, Philippines (relocation) or Remote work is possible, preferred time zones GMT+4 to GMT+10

We are looking for a developer to join our Core development teams. In this role, you will develop reliable and scalable microservices that form the core of our banking related solutions.

Your Future Tasks

• Collaborate with a team to develop and enhance platform solutions for banking product

• Develop scalable microservices in the JVM environment using Spring Boot.

• Implement event-driven architecture with a focus on DDD and eventual consistency.

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable APIs and services.

• Contribute to internal SDKs and frameworks for streamlined service use.

• Integrate with other platforms and services in a scalable manner.

• Assist in building and scaling banking and partner platforms.

What we expect from candidate

• 3+ years of software development experience with the JVM environment. (Good knowledge of Kotlin is advantageous)

• Experience using Spring Boot in a microservice environment

• Track record of working in an agile setup using continuous deployment and delivery

• Experience with event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, and eventual consistency

• Experience and joy in embracing a continuous knowledge-sharing approach within the team

• Experience with containerization and container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes preferred) in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)

Bonus points if you have

• Experience in building publicly available APIs & services

• Experience in building SDKs and frameworks to streamline the internal usage of services

• Integrate with other platforms and services in a scaling way

• Experience in building banking, and partner platforms and scaling them up

• Experience in building BPM solutions using Camunda (will be an advantage)
