We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Science Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers the opportunity to work on real-world projects involving large-scale data analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning. As a Data Science Intern at Quantumlight, you will gain hands-on experience and make a tangible impact on our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop new product features based on business needs and data insights.
2. Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making across teams.
3. Build and maintain dashboards using BI tools to communicate key metrics and trends.
4. Investigate specific data-related problems through independent research and problem-solving.
5. (Optional) Collaborate on a computer science-oriented project with a focus on software development, available to interns with interest and relevant skills.

Requirements

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.) or R.
3. Familiarity with SQL and data querying tools.
4. Understanding of machine learning concepts and data science workflows.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Passion for data, innovation, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
2. Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
3. Familiarity with data visualization libraries and dashboard tools.
4. Experience with version control systems like Git.
